Creativity has always been at the core of Pauline's endeavors. Growing up on a dairy farm in Ontario left little time for art, (just a few drawings here and there, a seal sculpture made from sand box grit) but her imagination was often busy recreating something. In her first professional career, Pauline specialized as a hair colour technician in Yorkville Toronto. 10 years later she shifted direction, literally, and moved to Vancouver where she studied fine arts & design and completed the Langara College Fine Arts Program, followed by the Emily Carr University of Art & Design Graphic Design Degree Program. While at ECUAD, Pauline travelled to Europe for a 5 month Student Exchange in The Netherlands studying graphic design, it's history in Holland, and experiencing the culture and homeland of her parents. She'd departed Canada early so she could experience backpacking solo through 5 countries in Europe. After graduating from ECUAD, Pauline teamed up with a natural & organic focused Vancouver company where she developed and occupied the professional roles of Senior Graphic Designer, acting Creative Director and Creative Team Lead. She also freelanced during this time, giving rise to PJCreativess. A corporate shuffle after 15 years in the industry gave Pauline the opportunity to make another brave, new move. She, her husband Mark and their two dogs relocated to the Okanagan, BC, where Pauline gave PJCreativess a proper working space for art and design - PJC Studio. Here she has returned to her first love and continues to follow her creative passion, drawing, painting and developing her artistic expressions. Her aptitude in Graphic Design remains a valuable asset in her art practice and business. In 2018 the addition of an on-site Gallery was added to the property adjacent to Pauline's Studio.
